We are committed to meeting or exceeding WCAG accessibility standards across our content and design. We’re seeking an Accessibility Tester to help us identify issues and improve the user experience for all visitors.

What You’ll Do

  • Test keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and contrast ratios
  • Provide clear documentation of issues and suggested fixes
  • Collaborate with the content and development team to implement improvements
  • Re-audit after changes to ensure compliance

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA standards and accessibility testing tools
  • Comfort testing WordPress-based sites
  • Understanding the challenges faced by older adult users (e.g., low vision, motor issues)
  • Ability to write actionable recommendations without technical jargon
  • Bonus: IAAP certification or professional accessibility training

Compensation

$40–$60/hour or flat rate per audit, depending on scope and expertise.
