Senior Hours: Which Stores Offer Senior Shopping Hours?

Supermarket Stores Senior Hours

Many supermarkets, pharmacies, and stores are now offering senior hours during the coronavirus epidemic. This should allow our seniors to shop in a safer environment.

However, the White House coronavirus task force is now suggesting that we should avoid going to the store as much as possible.

This is the moment to not be going to the grocery store, not be going to the pharmacy, but doing everything you can to keep your family and your friends safe. And that means everybody doing the six-feet distancing, washing your hands. – Dr. Birx

If you do decide you must go to the store, please avoid high traffic times. Do not stop if you see that the parking lot is full. When you walk into the store, avoid aisles with other people there already. Your shopping trip may take longer, but it’s worth it for your health’s sake.

Check out our Coronavirus Guide for Senior Citizens (COVID-19) for more tips on how to stay safe.
