Suddenly Senior is a leading destination for baby boomers and older adults looking for humor, advice, and clarity on retirement life. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented SEO Assistant to help our content reach a wider audience—no prior technical expertise required (we’ll provide the necessary training).

What You’ll Do

  • Update blog post metadata (titles, descriptions, focus keyphrases) in WordPress using SEO plugins like Yoast or Rank Math.
  • Add internal links between related articles to improve site structure
  • Conduct light keyword research using tools like Google Search Console or Ubersuggest
  • Monitor page performance and suggest improvements based on rankings or CTR
  • Assist in updating old articles for freshness and readability

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow checklists
  • Curiosity about how people find content online
  • No formal SEO experience is needed—we’ll train you!
  • Basic familiarity with WordPress is helpful
  • Reliable, organized, and eager to learn

Compensation

$18–$25/hour depending on experience. Estimated 5–8 hours/week to start, with potential to grow.
