We’re seeking passionate, sharp writers who can create engaging content that speaks directly to our 55+ audience with clarity, humor, and empathy.
What You’ll Do
- Write 2–4 well-researched, original articles per month (800–1200 words)
- Cover topics such as retirement lifestyle, Social Security updates, health tips, Medicare, downsizing, and more
- Incorporate SEO best practices (training provided)
- Pitch new article ideas relevant to seniors’ interests and challenges
- Fact-check and revise based on editorial feedback
- Maintain a conversational, senior-friendly tone—accessible, respectful, and witty when appropriate
What We’re Looking For
- Strong writing skills with a knack for simplifying complex topics
- Prior experience writing for older audiences or a genuine interest in senior issues
- Bonus: Journalism, blogging, or content writing background
- Ability to meet deadlines and accept constructive feedback
- Familiarity with WordPress is a plus
Compensation
$100–$150 per article, depending on length and research requirements. Potential for ongoing work and byline visibility.
